About Us
At Derril Audri Roy, every frame and brushstroke tells a story—crafted with care, blending photography, film, painting, and print into a seamless visual journey.
My Journey
Derril Audri Roy is a visual media artist working across photography, film, painting, and print. His practice is rooted in observation, emotion, and storytelling—capturing moments that feel lived rather than staged.
He is the Founder and Director of RETROVEIL, a creative venture established in 2022, focused on present-moment storytelling and visual authenticity. The work emphasizes being present in time, documenting subtle human experiences, and turning ordinary moments into lasting visual narratives.
Alongside his creative practice, he has served as General Secretary (Festival & Outreach Department) at Notre Dame Nature Study Club (NDNSC), where he contributed to organizing cultural and environmental initiatives.
He completed his studies in Print Making at the Faculty of Fine Art, University of Dhaka (Class of 2024), developing a strong foundation in fine art practice, composition, and conceptual visual thinking.
His earlier academic journey includes Notre Dame College, Dhaka, Barisal Zilla School, and Mallika Kindergarten School, shaping a disciplined and evolving creative path from an early stage.
Today, his work sits between fine art and contemporary visual storytelling—where photography meets print, and film meets emotion.
